Construction of a 720-Student School Reaches 60% Completion

Construction of a new 720-student capacity school, funded by the capital city’s budget, is progressing with 60% completion in the 17th khoroo of Khan-Uul District.

The school has a total floor area of 5,340.3 square meters and consists of three interconnected blocks—Blocks A, B, and C. Block A is designed as a three-story building with a basement, while Blocks B and C are three-story buildings without basements. The dimensions of the blocks are 25.4 × 19.0 meters for Block A, 32.5 × 19.0 meters for Block B, and 34.2 × 18.5 meters for Block C.

Construction activities currently underway include interior finishing works, exterior façade installation, plumbing installation, and the connection of engineering utility networks, all of which are progressing according to schedule.

Upon completion, the new school will provide an improved learning environment for students in the area, help reduce overcrowding in existing schools, and expand access to quality educational services for the local community.
