M.Govisaihan: Construction Will Be Supervised to Ensure Compliance with the Approved Design and Technology

A 640-seat general education school is currently under construction with funding from the Ulaanbaatar City budget in the 36th khoroo of Bayanzurkh District, one of the densely populated areas of the capital city.

Ch. Batzorig, Representative of the Citizens’ Representatives’ Khural of the Capital City; M. Govisaihan, Director of the Ulaanbaatar City Investment Agency; and relevant officials visited the construction site, met with representatives of the contractor and supervising engineers, exchanged views, and provided relevant instructions regarding the ongoing works.

Despite challenges related to the limited space around the construction site and difficulties concerning access and entry points, M. Govisaihan emphasized the need to accelerate the main construction works while ensuring quality and occupational safety requirements are met and that all works are carried out in accordance with the approved design and construction technology. He also directed the relevant parties to intensify construction activities.

In addition, Ch. Batzorig, Representative of the Citizens’ Representatives’ Khural of the Capital City, stated that he would work with the relevant authorities to urgently resolve the access and entry issues that are currently causing the greatest difficulties for the construction works.

Once completed and commissioned, the school will provide children living in the 36th khoroo of Bayanzurkh District with an opportunity to attend a school closer to home in a healthy and safe learning environment.
