On Safety and Health in Construction

The International Labour Organization (ILO), established in 1919 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, currently has 187 member states. On June 1, 1988, the ILO General Conference adopted Convention No. 167 titled “Safety and Health in Construction.”

By ratifying this Convention, engineers, technical staff, and workers in Mongolia’s construction sector are entitled to its benefits. This ensures full protection of their labor rights, improved working conditions, and the unified implementation of international labor standards within the sector.
