The exercise aimed to test the readiness of the national early warning systems and enhance the participation of citizens, businesses, and organizations. Staff members of the Investment Department of the Capital city took part in the drill in full attendance.
According to Government Resolution No. 339 issued in 2011, a nationwide emergency drill is held every year to raise awareness and preparedness for earthquakes. As outlined in the regulation, the drill takes place at 4:00 PM on the last Thursday of March and involves the public across the country.
